Colin Pullenger Steps Down from his Role on the ILB

Happy birthday to Colin Pullenger, who steps down from his role on the ILB today.
Colin joined us at Selsey in 1990 as a crew member on the D class ILB and Tyne class AWB 47-001 ‘City of London’. In 1998 he became an ILB Helmsman, who is responsible for the ILB and crew, before stepping up to the Senior Helmsman role at station which meant he became responsible for helping to organise all D class Lifeboat training at Selsey for new and existing crew.
We thank Colin for his contribution to the station so far and are glad to say that he will continue serving with us as 2nd Coxswain and deputy mechanic on our Shannon class Lifeboat, 13-20 'Denise and Eric'.
Happy birthday from us all at Selsey Lifeboat Station, and be glad your knees can now rest.
